“May I take the opportunity to give a big thank you to Church Energy Purchasing Group (CEPG) for arranging the transfer of our energy supplies. Up until the end of 2014 we were concerned about the ending of our gas and electricity contracts with our previous utilities company, who had given us a new quotation for our supplies which appeared to be much more than we had been paying on our previous contract...
…We spent some time looking at other utility companies then decided to have a look on the internet to see if we could resolve our search for a suitable energy company; this revealed a number of companies who specialised in helping churches with their search for the best deal in energy prices and we chose CEPG…
…A phone call to 0800 011 2834 ended a lot of tedious and time consuming work for us. Christopher Joyce of CEPG, our dedicated accounts manager immediately took charge of obtaining quotes for gas and electricity and after a few emails with information of our needs, two of our churches have now moved to a new supplier with much lower charges than quoted by our previous supplier…
…When the utility contract ends on our third Church it will be a pleasure to hand over Christopher to negotiate a new contract knowing it will be dealt with speedily and efficiently. Many thanks again to CEPG and our accounts manager Christopher…"

"I have recently had the privilege of dealing with CEPG through Jordan Scott in connection with moving our electric account, with a resultant saving of 38% over our previous supplier...
...Following the switch, British Gas sent us a final demand for £379, based on an estimated reading. Jordan dealt with this matter, eventually obtaining a final amount of £24; what a result!...
...I cannot recommend too highly the excellent way in which Jordan on behalf of CEPG has conducted our business..."
- Ian Austerberry, Church Warden/Finance Group - St Paul's Church, Gorsedd
"We at All Saints Coddington have been extremely pleased with the service CEPG have given to us. Firstly the service is personal and you have only one contact. It removed all the hassle of obtaining individual quotes from energy companies as they do that for you as well as advising you on the best contract for your church. In addition they also remind you prior to the end of your contract so a new one can be negotiated."
- Mr M Johnson, Honorary Treasurer - All Saints Church, Coddington, Ledbury
"We are very pleased with the Church Energy Purchasing Group (CEPG), for helping us to find a cheaper electricity for our church St Neophytos. Also we found that we paid more VAT with our previous suppliers and they helped us to receive the VAT back. They are very good and helpful."
- A.Alexandrou - Northampton Greek Orthodox Church
"When I became the new church treasurer and was approached by our energy supplier in respect of new energy contracts, I recalled hearing about the CEPG and decided to contact them. I was immediately impressed by their friendly helpful manner and was carefully guided through all the processes involved.
We were eventually able to secure energy contracts at far more beneficial rates and with far less work than if we had tried to deal with the energy companies directly ourselves. As a bonus, the CEPG discovered that we had been assessed as having a far lower gas consumption than was actually the case and that it was very likely that we had been overcharged on our previous contract. This proved to be the case and we eventually received a cheque from our energy supplier for quite a substantial amount in respect of the overcharging. Without the CEPG this would probably never have come to light and we could have ended up paying inflated charges for years ahead.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the CEPG. I believe they have the expertise to secure the best rates available from all the major energy suppliers and their service is friendly, helpful and FREE. In these worrying financial times, it is reassuring to feel that our church is paying the lowest possible energy prices."
- John Coates, Churchwarden/Treasurer - St Swithun's Church, East Retford
"I can advise that we have been using the services of CEPG via Kris Leybourne in the settlement of a long standing conclusion of electricity & gas contracts at our church. The closure of our contract was 09/03/2015 and it has taken until early November for the matter to be fully resolved.
During this time, Kris Leybourne has been tireless in the pursuit of achieving a solution, which has been very difficult due to inefficacy and chaos of our present supplier. But with much patience and forbearance the object has been satisfactorily achieved.
We indeed are for his guidance and we can have a continued relationship in the future with Kris Leybourne and of course CEPG. Our best wishes on behalf of St John’s Church."
- David H Harrison – Churchwarden - St John the Baptist Church, Coley, Halifax
"We wish we had a gas supply up here then you could negotiate that too! I have always found you & your colleagues friendly & helpful & efficient."
- Alan Ormesher, Treasurer - Kielder and Falstone United Reformed Churches
